No new Monkey Law for nearly a friggin' month, and there's not even a self-deprecating blog post giving an inadequate reason why?

Whazzup widat?

There's only one possible explanation: commies stealing Brad's precious bodily fluids!

Maybe I just wanted to see if anyone would notice. Evil

New Monkey Law on Monday. I'll put up a blog post about it when I get home.

Well, damn, after reading your blog post I'll just say I had no idea.  Not about the lack of traffic -- the other thing, about getting tired of the whole strip.  Well, it's had a great run, IMNSHO, no matter how unappreciative the big bad Intarweb has been.  Maybe a completely new cast of characters is what you need.  Just don't go the Berkeley Breathed route of shitcanning the strip and then coming crawling back.  That was just sad.

You wonder why the hit count is down, with so few comix even those of us who might otherwise check in 3 times a week do so less often?  I thought mass audience wasn't as important as other reasons for putting the monkeys into their life challenges?

The Chinese take out adoption service was the first in a while where I was literally <LOL>.  Another direction you could take that thread is the Bush regime backed "one child, one church" carrot and stick bribery of state child protective agencies to form alliances with GOP approved churches.  What would the response be if a state funded adoption program promised kids pre-indoctrinated to be gawdfully hateful of gays, or with one of those ring thing indoctrinations and pierced in prejudices, or pole people virtual burning of non-rabid fundie fellow students at the school yard stake (where they post pictures with pins, and conspire to stalk and harass actual or suspected gays mercilessly on and off campus)?  How would the Jeezus panderers react when they're asked for a kid not indoctrinated to need teen suicide so soon, or one able to respect civil rights or understand how gay marriage protections are overdue?

As to the beard thing, those images are rather boring, though I've never done any such thing since age 17.  But, it your butt has that rarely seen the sun, how about trying some almost nude yard work, wearing useful stuff like sneakers, gloves, and a hat?

This may be more up the alley of another Spinzone member, but how about a civil rights enforcement special police unit coming in and arresting rabid fundie bible police for harassing nudists and naturists?

Well, the monkeys ARE constantly naked...

(excluding hats, of course)
